Shawna graduated from Crowder High School (Oklahoma) in May 1986. Upon graduation, Shawna attended community college before enlisting in the US Air Force, where she proudly and honorably served her country for 7 years as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. While in service, Shawna met her husband Fred, who was from Indiana, where they moved to after both received honorable discharges from the military. Shawna started with Meridian Pediatrics in August 2002 as a medical receptionist working her way through to becoming the billing manager in February 2013.

Shawna has been happily married to Fred Boyce for more than 30+ years with 3 sons, 2 bonus daughters, and 2 granddaughters. She loves music, cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
